Japanese company plans to increase its production of beer in Brazil

The Japanese beer maker Kirin Holdings plans to invest next year about 350 million Reais (15 billion yen) to increase its presence in Brazil, the third largest consumer of the beverage in the world, reported the newspaper "Nikkei".
With this investment, the manufacturer hopes to duplicate the production network of canned beer in their factory located in the city of Igarassu, Pernambuco, for close to 300 000 kilolitres, which will elevate in 10% market share of the Japanese company in Brazil.
