BRF will produce more than 12 million products from brands Sadia and Perdigao for Christmas

To ensure the Supper in celebration of Christmas and the arrival of the new year, the BRF will produce more than 12 million units of products of the brands Sadia and Perdigão. "Among the highlights are the Peru Sadia and Perdigão Chester", says Rodolfo Torello, chief marketing officer of BRF. "Seven industrial units will be responsible for supplying the market", adds the Executive. The portfolio this year will have 36 items, five more than the bid in 2012. "It's a diverse line, as well as the taste of Brazil, which seeks practicality, quality and flavor," explains Torello. According to market data, in 2012, the Brazilian Christmas supper was composed by an average of seven, counting the main dishes, side dishes and desserts. The category of special birds, which includes the Peru Sadia and Perdigão, Chester remained as the most consumed at Christmas suppers. Based on this preference, the BRF concentrated 80% of production from 2013 on those items. The novelty this year is the Chester Perdigão Assa Easy Pesto flavor, seasoned with olive oil, basil, chestnuts from Pará and a touch of Parmesan.
The Sadia brand brings two big news to the market: the fillet of cod and salmon filet. Both follow the concept "Easy", because they come in the bag, which leaves the Easy Bake product much more flavorful and juicy. This release will only be available for SP.
