Revenue rises in June

The wholesale distributor sector's revenues recorded nominal growth of 10.17% in June, compared to the same period last year.
In relation to May, the increase was 2.24%. In the period from January to June, the sector increased by 2.20%.
The data are from the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors (Abad), which attributes the results to the advance of neighborhood retail during social isolation.
In real terms, the wholesale distributor grew 7.87% compared to June last year and 1.98% compared to the month of May. However, in the accumulated year, the actual result had a negative change of 0.77%.
