Individual Microentrepreneurs Grow 23.1%

The number of MEIs (individual microentrepreneurs) grew by 23.1% in 2019 compared to 2018, according to Data from Boa Vista. According to the survey, the increase is due to unemployment rates. In all, the number of new companies rose 18.1% last year. The survey also shows that the services sector represented 61.8% of the opening of companies in Brazil.
