Localiza concluded the definitive contracts and closing of the acquisition of the car rental operation of a franchated company of the brand based in Ribeirão Preto (SP) by R $124 million, second material fact sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM ) on Monday (2). The continuation of the transaction announced in mid-July was after the approval of the Board of Directors so that the wholly owned subsidiary Car Rental Systems would acquire the Localiza RP rent of Cars S.A., composed of part of the company Localiza Franchada, Ativa Service LTDA. Ativa Service LTDA is based in Ribeirão Preto and has operations in three more cities in the interior of the state of São Paulo, with a fleet of 2,175 cars.
