Basic basket has high of 0.88%, says Procon-SP

The value of the basic basket in the city of São Paulo recorded a high of 0.88%, in the period from September 6th to 12th, reveals daily research of the nucleus of intelligence and research--EPDC--of Procon-SP, in agreement with Dieese. The average price, which on the day 5/9 was R $734.49, went to R $740.97 in 12/9. By group, the following variations were observed: food 0.94%; Cleaning-2.92% and personal hygiene 2.90%. The variation in the month of September was 2.05% (base 30/8/19). In the period, the products that increased were: white fine toilet paper (with 4 units)-7.91%; Refined sugar (5 kg)-3.99%; Margarine (250)-3.90%; Fresh Sausage (kg)-3.71%; Carioquinha Bean (kg)-2.55%. Significant falls The biggest falls were: Soap powder (kg)-4.55%; Liquid Detergent (500 ml)-2.74%; Garlic (kg)-2.72%; Tomato Extract (340/350g)-2.61% and softener (2 liters)-2.51%. Of the 39 products surveyed, in the weekly variation, 24 had a high price, 13 had a fall and two remained stable.
