Coca-Cola Registers profit of $ Bi $1.68 in 1st Qtr

The Coca-Cola Company recorded profit of $ $1.68 billion in the first quarter of 2019, which represents 23% high compared to the same period last year. Manufacturer's revenue advanced 5%, on the same basis of comparison, to $ $8 billion. According to Dow Jones Newswires, the numbers of the quarter came in better than expected by analysts. In the report, the company reaffirmed its projections to 2019, with the expectation of profit growth between 10% and 11%. The company's revenue in Latin America backed down 10% in the first quarter of 2019, to $ $896 million. The volume of sales in the region fell 1%, since the growth in Brazil, Peru and Chile in didn't pay off the sharp drop in the Argentinean market.
