The supermarkets of Rio Grande do Sul estimate nominal growth of 5.2 percent in sales over Easter, as compared to the same period in 2018. Formed by 4600 stores distributed by the State, the industry should earn R $84.5 million at the time, with 8.5 million chocolate eggs marketed. The data are from a survey conducted by the State Association of Supermarkets (Agas). According to the survey, prices will be about 2.7% higher than for last year, the average ticket must be R $206.00 and tablets of chocolate, candy boxes and smaller eggs must stand out in this Easter.
