Building Material retail Advances 6%

Building material sales had growth of 6% in February, compared with the same period in 2018. The data is part of the monthly survey from the National Association of traders of construction materials (Anamaco). Compared to January, the high was 4%. According to the survey, about 65% of retailers surveyed have good expectations for the month of March and 79% of members are optimistic about the new Government's guidelines for the sector. In the past 12 months, retail of construction obtained 6% advance. For this year, the Anamaco provides for 8.5% growth compared to last year.
