Carrefour Brazil's sales grow 8.9% in the third quarter

The gross sales of Carrefour Brazil grew 8.9% in the third quarter of 2019 in comparison with the same period of 2018, excluding gasoline sales, to R $14.44 billion. When considering gasoline, sales totaled R $15.1 billion, a high of 8.4%. In a statement, Carrefour Brasil points out that, in the period from July to September, the macroeconomic scenario of Brazil remained challenging, still marked by a high rate of unemployment and the slowdown in food inflation to 4.3% against 7% in the second Quarter.
