Trade Closes 2018 with high sales

Retail sales in the country accelerated the pace of growth in 2018 in comparison to 2017. According to data from Boa Vista, the trade movement ended last year with a high of 1.8 percent, after closing 2017 with 1.5% expansion. According to the entity, despite the modest performance recorded in 2018, the indicator continued to grow for the second consecutive year. On the other hand, compared to November, there was a fall of 1.5% and 0.8% lifting before December 2017. Activity Division, supermarkets, food and beverages closed the year with a high of 2.7% compared to 1.7% in the previous year.
