Production of the Valley rises almost 6% in a year

The production of iron ore from Vale in the second quarter of the year amounted to 91,840,000 tons, up 5.8% compared to the same range of 2016, reported on Thursday (20) the company in production report.

The total production of Worth in the second quarter, 41,490,000 tons came from the North System, expansion of 13.7% compared to the previous year. The Southeast System produced 27,450,000 tons in the same period, an increase of 9.1% compared to the previous year. Finally, the system was responsible for the production of 22,310,000 tons, a fall of 9.2% over the same period last year.
