Nestle will invest in factories in AL

São Paulo-Nestlé ''s creating jobs and investing in new factories in Latin America, as search social issues and strengthen your position in one of its main markets, said on Tuesday (30) regional director for the Americas, Laurent Freixe.
The manufacturer of chocolate Kit Kat and Nespresso coffee machine is working with government officials in the four countries that are members of the Pacific Alliance-Chile, Mexico, Peru and Colombia-in order to create 2,900 vacancies for young people in three years and teach skills to job search.

The initiative follows similar project conducted by Nestle in Europe in recent years, when some countries were just beginning to recover from the crisis of youth unemployment. Nestle employs about 60000 people in roles ranging from workers in factories the veterinarians in Latin America.

The company announced last week investments of about R $20,000,000 in the expansion of your Technology and quality Center, which will operate in São Paulo. Some of the goals of the Center is to enable the food supply increasingly cool and safe with greater agility quality analyses.
"What we envision is increasingly have the fastest product for the consumer," said the General Manager of the Center for technology and quality of Nestlé, James Politi, in an interview with Reuters.
The new Center, which will work in the industrial park of Macaws (SP), from November, will provide an increase of at least 20% on ability to technological unit analyses, which today works in São Paulo.
The Nestlé factory in Araras is one of the 31 that the company has in Brazil, while the quality centre will be a reference for other laboratories installed at each plant of the company in operation in Brazil.
With the expansion, the center of analysis will be more prepared for the launch of new products, with an eye on a demanding and competitive consumer market, said Politi.
