Half of Brazilians plan to present this Easter

About of 77,800,000 Brazilians, i.e. 51% of consumers in the country want to gift someone this Easter, up 2 percentage points in comparison with the same period last year, according to research conducted by Fecomercio RJ/Ipsos.
Average spending with the acquisition of all the gifts will be at 82.41, also in high R$ in relation to the value pointed to the survey of 2016 ($ 74,98). The value represents an injection of 6.4 billion R$ in Brazilian Trade revenue.
Among those who will present, the preferred options are still the chocolate eggs (81%) and chocolate (24%). When asked about the payment methods, 89% have indicated that they intend to pay cash and 7% in installments.
The survey was conducted between February 1 and February 11, with 1200 respondents in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, Florianopolis, Salvador, Recife and in 64 cities.
