65% of companies in the electronics sector expect growth in 2017

Survey made by Abinee (Brazilian Association of Electronics Industry) in January, indicates that most companies in the sector projects growth of operations in 2017. According to the survey, 65% of the companies queried expect increase in business this year, while 26% design stability and 9% fall in about 2016. For more than half of companies (52%), growth will start in the first half.
With positive expectations, about a third of companies (30%) has no intention of increasing your headcount this year. Of this total, 23% in the first quarter should hire; 64% on the second quarter and 13 percent in the second half of 2017.
"The result of the poll indicates that optimism of businesses, after a disastrous year, came back to gain breath," said the President of Abinee, Humberto Barbato. "It is, however, a cautious optimism, because we need to wait for the next few months so that, with the consolidation of a positive economic scenario, these expectations materialise," he noted.
