For Lactalis to double volume of milk in MG

The manufacturer of dairy products for Lactalis wishes to double the volume of milk received Juruaia plant (MG). The ability was 20000 litres/day. It is expected to reach 40000 up to December this year and 80000 in June 2016.
Until last month, the Unit produced cheeses, but the operation was transferred to Pouso Alto, also in Minas Gerais. Now, Juruaia plant focuses only on reception and cooling raw material. William Paul, Director of institutional relations of the company, the measure aims at optimizing structure and improving logistics.
To extend the collection of milk in the region of Juruaia, for Lactalis has been implementing a program to raise the productivity of producers. The measures range from the sale of girolando cattle breed animals to subsidized values until the increase in the number of suppliers – currently at 150.
