Aseptic packaging and guarantee health care consumption of fresh coconut water and boost market

The coconut water wins more and more space in the national market. Initially discarded after use of the fruit due to lack of a packaging and processing technology that ensure the preservation of nutritional characteristics and the taste, the drink, for 20 years, is packed in aseptic carton packs, which allows their conservation, without need of refrigeration.
The beverage industry won a new niche market with the development of long-life packaging of Tetra Pak for the coconut water. The first release was of the KeroCoco brand, produced at the time by Amacoco, in 1995.
