Wendy''s enters the Brazilian market with two stores in SP

Washington-the American fast-food network Wendy''s announced on Monday its entry into the Brazilian market with the opening of two restaurants in São Paulo.
In his entry in the Brazilian market, the network of American hamburgers, the third largest in the world, will be governed by Infinity Services, a company based in São Paulo and which is responsible for the establishment in Brazil of networks like Benihana and Hooters.
The company based in Dublin (Ohio) said in a statement that, after the opening of these two locations in Sao Paulo, has "plans to expand significantly" the presence of its restaurants in Brazil in the future by Wendy''s Brazil, a joint venture created in 2015 with a subsidiary of Infinity.
With this initiative, the Wendy''s, which has more than 1000 6.5 fast-food restaurants in 30 countries, with the largest number in the United States, strengthens its presence in Latin America, where it already has establishments in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama and Venezuela.
It is expected that the two new restaurants Wendy''s in the Brazil open in mid-July, according to the company.
