World consumption of coffee was 152.1 million bags of 60 kg in 2015

Coffee market report (February/2016)-according to the International Coffee Organization-ICO, world consumption of coffee was 150.3 million bags of 60 kg in 2014, rose to 152.1 million in 2015 and, in the last four years, the annual growth of 2% average remained. In Asia was established much of the recent growth in consumption, with growth rates of 4.5 to 9% in Indonesia, Philippines, India and Thailand. The world production of coffee in 2015, already published in the previous edition of the report of the OIC, remained at 143.4 million bags of 60 kg.
