INMETRO makes operation to oversee chocolate eggs with toys

The National Institute of metrology, quality and technology, starts on Monday the Special Easter Operation, which will oversee sales of chocolate eggs containing toys.
The goal of the Institute is to check whether the toys offered as toast are the identification of conformity seal, which certifies that the product has been certified. The action occurs in all States.
The operation runs until Friday, 11. Consumers can also check when buying. According to Inmetro, chocolates with toy licences shall bring the following sentence on the packaging: "warning: contains certified toy under the Brazilian System of conformity assessment".
The establishments where irregularities are found to have up to ten days to defend himself. Afterwards, will be subject to the penalties provided for in law, with the possibility of fines ranging from 100 to 1.5 million R$ R$.
