Consumer market demands more sustainable packaging

A survey shows that 61% of American consumers have considered more sustainable packaging when deciding which product to buy, and almost 70% would consider switch brands if they show best environmental practices. In line with this trend, Novelis North America expands sales of evercycle, first industry portfolio to offer a product with high recycled content for the specialty market.
In the case of food packaging, the evercycle is the only product to contain 100% recycled content, with 90% of the content from post-consumer products (sent for recycling after use by the consumer) and 10% from the scrap production process.
