Only 13% of the companies know the return on investment in training

Survey of PwC consulting with 73 companies of various sectors indicated that only 13% calculate the return on investment in training. Most companies (93%) evaluates only the reaction to training, which includes the satisfaction of participants and the feedback. Already 66% measuring learning assessment before and after.
"The companies make the planning of corporate education, but are not able to assess the return than was invested," says Marina Auler, consulting Manager of people and organization of PwC.
The survey identified that the focus of the programs used to be the technical knowledge. To give an idea, 89% of companies say that the training can positively impact level of technical skills. "Many companies end up dropping the teaching behavioral skills related to the alignment of organizational culture," says Marina.
Another observation is that 50% of the training carried out in 2015, 18% were in-person in the form of interaction, 17% and 15% during work at a distance.
