Construction activity Keeps Falling

According to the National Confederation of industry (CNI), the level of activity and the number of employees of construction continued to register a fall in September. Last month, the indicator totaled 41.5 points, against 41.8 points in August. Already the index of employment in the sector stood at 39.7 points in September, when the indicator of the level of operation of the sector reached 57%, 1 percentage point above the value observed in August, but 8 percentage points below the historical average for the month. The indexes of CNI of expectations for the next six months remained below 50 points – indicating falling projection.
