Black Friday brazilian must earn 34 percent more in 2016, predicts Organizer

SAO PAULO-brazilian Black Friday should move 2 billion reais this year, according to estimated data generated from the history of previous editions and based on the BlackFriday.com.br portal traffic and the originator of the event in Brazil.
The amount represents a high of 34% before 2015, despite the low rate of household consumption in Brazil due to the economic recession. There is also expectation of increase in the number of application for 28%, to above 4 million.
"People are waiting for the date to end-of-year purchases. Who wasn''t buying because of the recession will take advantage of the event attracted by discounts, "said Richard Bove, Managing Director of BlackFriday.com.br., in press release.
The average ticket should be around 5% higher than last year, a little over 500 reais. "For this year is expected to be slight increase due to the maturation of data and relative stabilization of products most sought after," said Bove.
According to the survey, the main shopping intentions for the 2016 Edition are linked to products with higher added value and desire; especially for smartphones, TVs, notebooks and home appliances.
Black Friday, which came to Brazil in 2011, with the portal Search Discounts, occurs this year on November 25 day.
"Unlike the United States, started with an event that happened for the physical retail and, currently, the Black Friday brazilian hits from the small to the large retailer," Bove added.
