Baumgarten, rako and x-label build new power of industry labels

The Baumgarten, Rako and X-label announced in late September that they signed a merger agreement to become one of the largest and most innovative companies in the market, with presence in the regions of growth of its clients. Together, they will be able to offer a broader product portfolio, more efficient processes and innovative solutions to its customers.
The merger brings together three regional leaders in the field of labelling, Rako Group and X-label, of Germany, and the leader of the Brazilian market, Baumgarten. The newly created entity, which extends around the world from Latin America through Europe to Asia, is built on a history of achievements and successes of the three companies, which already have strong positions within and outside their domestic markets. Together, they form a new group that operates in 30 industrial plants around the world, with more than 3,000 employees and more than 2,000 customers from different sectors and industries, with annual revenues of over 500 million dollars.

The global leadership team of the new company will be made up of the executives who led their companies to big positions in the market to date, as Matthias Kurtz and Adrian Tippenhauer of Rako, Tim Fiedler and Jan Oberbeck of X-label and Fernando Gabel of Baumgarten.
The new group will be located in Witzhave near Hamburg, Germany. Matthias Kurtz (operations), Adrian Tippenhauer (sales and business development), Tim Fiedler (finance) and Jan Oberbeck (sales and business development) will be the new group''s coCEO founded.
The merger is under review Germany''s regulators and the closing of the transaction is expected later this year.
The integration of all companies is currently in the planning stages. The beginning and the completion of the process are planned to take place during the year of 2017.
All companies will operate within their legal structures until further notice.
The name of the newly created entity will be announced soon after the closing of the transaction.
