Borges invests in the segment of peeled tomatoes

Renowned for its line of traditional and special oils and Vinegars differentiated, the Borges Food increases its portfolio of products offered in Brazil, with the launch of peeled tomatoes. The tomatoes skinned Borges are grown-ups and intense red color, because they are produced in the region of Puglia, southern portion of Italy, responsible for 70% of the production of tomatoes known as "Italians" here in Brazil, thanks to the special climate and agricultural conditions. The peeled tomatoes Borges have international quality certification and production by different organizations.
To ensure the freshness and the maintenance of all the characteristics of quality of tomatoes, such as color and flavor, the Barber peeled tomatoes are processed (skin removed) and packed in to 6:0 after harvest in the field. The cans receive coating, without additives, for their better preservation, and have "easy open"-opening system that dispenses openers. Just open and use.
"When you open a can of peeled tomatoes Borges, the consumer finds whole tomatoes, graúdos, in a sauce dense and intense flavor, making them ideal for a wide range of culinary uses," says Bernardo Bridges, General Manager of Borges Brazil. "These characteristics differentiate the peeled tomatoes Borges of products available in the market today – because not everyone has easy open packaging, or cans with lining. Without this coating, there may be change in the taste of tomato. Another difference is that our tomatoes come in one piece and with a dense juice, which can improve the result of revenue and the flavour of sauces – we see that other brands don't have whole tomatoes and the juice is drained ", says Bridges.
In Brazil, is present with complete line of extravirgens oil (classics, and special single varieties, created in partnership with the renowned Spanish chef Ferran Adrià), special Vinegars, including balsamic of Modena, dried pasta of grano duro and, now, also peeled tomatoes. Their oils are among the three favorite brands of the Brazilian consumer.
