Acquíssima Launches Special Edition packaging for World Cup

The Acquíssima expands its line with the launch of two new packaging which enhances the colors of Brazil. The new label gains prominence with the phrase "Brazil Strength" stimulus. The new line is focused on large public events, like the World Cup, and will have limited edition, with sale from May to July. The new versions of the water have the option of green or yellow color and are offered in 510 ml packaging.
The company's goal with this release is to be present in the main commemorative dates to offer a premium product to consumers who seek more sophisticated and differentiated items. The expectation is that this brand issue contributes 30% increase in the total volume of 510 ml water without gas.
The disclosure will be made by exposing of the product at the point of sale, merchandising materials creation and realization of cooperative promotional activities with customers. The distribution will be nationwide, with focus in the States of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, and the news will arrive at retail for an average price of $ 1.49 apiece.
The world bottled water industry presents a strong tendency of expansion in the Brazilian market, scoring an annual growth of about 20 percent, according to statistics of the National Department of Mineral production (DNPM) and the Associação Brasileira da Indústria Mineral water (ABINAM). There is the prospect that Brazil be recognized over the next few years, as one of the largest per capita consumers of bottled water.
