Clealco ceases to be a member of the Copersucar

The group, which since 2010 Clealco was co-owner of Copersucar, decided to give up the partnership. The company signed to continue negotiating part of its production of sugar trading, but on the condition that "third", not a partner.
Clealco has two alcohol plants in the State of São Paulo, which together shall be 7.9 million tons of sugar cane in 2013/14. Sugar production should reach 679 thousand tons, of which at least 200 thousand tons to be marketed via Copersucar.
The sale of ethanol production, from 213 million liters, will be in charge of Clealco. The group reported that its commercial team will be the same as already negotiated sugar and ethanol before entry in the Copersucar. The company, which responded by 7% of the volume of sugar and ethanol moved by Copersucar-decided to no longer be a partner by assessing which will have more flexibility to maximize their business results.
The Board of Executive Directors of the Group explained that came with the performance achieved in the last three years when their stocks were under the management of trading, and the assessment was that there would be potential to get 10% results 15% larger.

In 2013/14, this volume will go up to 130 million tons of sugar cane (100 million coming from partners and third-party 30). The numbers already consider Clealco as origination client.
