UNILEVER ANNOUNCES RECALL OF ADES APPLE JUICE DUE TO BURN HAZARD

RIO — Unilever Brazil will publish Thursday a statement stating that the contents of 96 boxes of juice Apple 1.5 litre of AdeS lot 25, is unsuitable for AGB. The company has detected sanitation process failed, which resulted in the filling of containers with cleaning solution. The consumption of the product under these conditions may cause burns. The products of this consignment, manufactured in February 23 and with validity until 22 December this year, were distributed in the States of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Paraná.
According to the company, the failure has been resolved already identified. Existing products at the factory were retained and are still in the points of sale are being collected. The manufacturer requests that consumers do not use the product if it has already bought.
