Heineken celebrates 140 years with special bottles

To celebrate its 140 years, beer Heineken brings to Brazil the series of thematic aluminium packaging "Episodes". The collection has four units with different graphic designs, with three models represent important periods in the history of the brand, while the fourth bottle makes a projection of how the Heineken will connect with people in the coming years. The themes chosen to illustrate the packaging are: "Paris 1889", when Heineken won the best beer in the world at the International Grand Prix; "Amsterdam 1931", when the Heineken logo with the Red Star was created; "World 2013", celebrating 140 years of the mark; and "The Future", created by two fans of the brand who won the design competition "Future Bottle", on the internet.
"We're releasing these special editions in Brazil as a way to honor those consumers who are fans of our brand. In addition, we want to tell people that, over time, the brewery has always maintained its quality without innovation ", says Daniela Cachich, Director of Heineken Brazil premium brands.
The four packs of series Episodes are on sale together, in a case that allows the collection is exposed in the most varied environments. The kit has a suggested retail price of $ 99.90 and is marketed only in Pão de Açúcar, Extra and the South zone, in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Paris 1889: This collection item has frescoes that hark back to the French capital in the 21st century. XIX, in 1889, the year the Heineken beer won the World Grand Prix of beers, in France, under the title of ' best beer in the world '. The bottle has engravings of famous tourist spots of the ' city of light ', like the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral.
Amsterdam 1931: second item of the collection in chronological order, the bottle Amsterdam 1931 tells the story of the most iconic element of the brand Heineken, the five-pointed red star. The Future: through a cultural contest, Heineken invited consumers to imagine brand packing in the distant future. The winners of the competition, Lee Dunford and Rodolfo Kusulas, created the two prints that decorate the fourth component of the series ' Episodes '. With the white background, the bottle ' The Future ' presents in the rear engraving of Rudolf Kusulas: a world map in the format of ' red star ', referring to internationality and the connection it makes with the free-spirited and adventurous of its consumers. On the opposite side of the packaging, is the creation of Lee Dunford, who is also composed by the ' red star ' green and other stars featured in the background.
