Highlights: Beer in bottles of cardboard

Carlsberg is one of the leading Breweries of the world, sold about 36 billion bottles of their liquor brands only 500 in the year 2013.
This substrate change may have a big impact on the way people consume beer and could also significantly reduce the waste however, the green bottle would require a major shift in consumer mentality of beer that are used to hold the bottles and cans in the hands. Not to mention that the distinctive sound when a can or bottle hit each other is non-existent.
The new package would be similar to an egg carton, with a visible fibres. The bottles can be recycled, such as cardboard or newspapers and will decompose naturally.
