Henkel registers a net profit of 8.8%

Henkel, a specialist in the areas of technology of adhesives and cosmetics, had organic growth in sales of 3.2%, reaching 4,654,000,000 euros in the second quarter of 2016, with high EBIT margin reaching 17.6%. Sales in Latin America reached 266,000,000 euros, with organic growth of 11%. Nominally, sales were reduced by 0.9% due to the negative impact of 5.3% on the Exchange. Adjusted net income for the quarter grew 8.8%, from EUR 558,000,000 to EUR 607,000,000. The reported net income for the quarter rose 7.7%, to EUR 572,000,000 531,000,000.
