Hygiene products went up 2.28% in April in supermarkets of BH, according to research

The toiletries are on average 2.28 percent more expensive this April compared to last month, in Belo Horizonte and Metropolitan Region. The survey was done by Procon Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais (ALMG) in 16 establishments on Monday and Tuesday this week. Research shows that the food items went up 0.08% and the cleaning were on average 0.13% cheaper in the last 30 days.
Among the items of hygiene, the shampoo stood out by offering increased in all brands surveyed. According to the study, the price of a product brand reached up 14.25% compared to the previous month.
The price of four of the five brands of toothpaste surveyed rose. Between the tampons, three of the four brands that were included in the survey showed increased. The two deodorant brands taken into account in the study also soared in supermarkets in the capital.
In the power sector, the items that most registered high were the crystal sugar, which ranged from 1.74% to 7.6% and the tomato extract, which came up 9.14%, depending on the brand. The long-life milk was found with prices up 8.8% higher, although some brands have been cheaper to 36.23%.
