Jafra arrives at retail in partnership with Iódice

The Jafra Cosmetics direct sales brand gives string to its expansion plan in Brazil and act directly in retail. In partnership with Iódice, she will sell its products and will subsequently be responsible for producing their own lines that will carry the name of the brand.
"The Iódice had intended to have a cosmetic line and we're looking for a brand to the partnership. We found the Jafra, which has the profile of a company that comes to our DNA. The benefit will be for the two brands, "said exclusively to the DCI, the stylist Valdemar Iódice.
According to the President of Jafra Cosmetics in Brazil, Lásaro do Carmo Júnior, the partnership goes beyond concept store in store and the project, which is in pilot phase, begins at Iódice on Oscar Freire and can, in future, be taken the other brand. "It's not just selling Jafra products at Iódice, we are creating a perfume line exclusive to the brand," said the Executive to remind you that it is the first commercial partnership initiative brand in the world involving the sale in stores. The first action to publicize the perfume line of Iódice by Jafra will be during the parade of the mark in the 40th edition of the São Paulo Fashion Week, which starts next Sunday in Sao Paulo. "We're not stopping there. We launched the perfume first and then go to line of makeup, Nail Polish and face items ", emphasized, affirming the intention Iódice having a line of private label.
Time to innovate
According to the businessman, this is not the time to stand around and who do this will miss market. "Has many shops closing and entrepreneurs of today does not have focus. Cannot stop. Open the online channel and we have reduced the costs to maintain the profitability of the brand, "said Iódice, who has stores, franchises and operates on channel in multibrand boutiques.
Cost reduction, explains the entrepreneur, involved decreased sales, dismissal of employees and paring down of other operating expenses.
Another step of innovation preached by stylist and the Executive of Jafra is inserting services. "The woman can come here, do a skin care, makeup, choose an outfit and get ready to leave," quipped the stylist said that when his showroom, which will be added to the store of Oscar Freire, is not used to expose collection at boutiques, can turn into a salon. The Jafra will train consultants and beauticians to offer this "treat" in addition to the consumer. "More than having representatives who sell the products, we will have professionals qualified to do procedures in our stores and on Iódice," said Casey Jr.
Iódice and President of Jafra Cosmetics claimed not to have discussed the implementation costs of the conner in the store brand, and or how much it can increase sales for both operations. They said just be a lasting partnership and which aims at giving access to consumers of Jafra products. "As well as prints and unique collections has Iódice, let's give access to your customers the beauty products with the same concept", emphasized the President of Jafra Brazil to DCI.
New directions
With the intention to double in size in the Brazilian market in the next year, Jafra will give new steps in retail. By the end of this year intends to transform its showroom, located in Moema, in consumer sales channel. "Today the space serves only for the demonstration of our products, but we will turn it into a store very soon," said Casey Junior.
For the next year, in addition to nationalize the production of most of the products sold by brand-process begun this year-the search spaces for Jafra open stores. "Two stores in São Paulo and in the future, who knows, we may turn into franchises," he said. Another plan that is being implemented is the e-commerce brand. "We're going to open the virtual operation and requests that are made by this channel will have Commission reverted to distributors," concluded the Executive.
