In 8 MONTHS, PRICE of COFFEE GROWS MORE THAN 50%

The price of coffee has high of 50.17%, between 2 January and 22 August, according to data from the Center for advanced studies in applied economics (Cepea). With regard to prices, the Cepea shows that the sack was the R$281,72 in January and was quoted at r $ 422 in August. The estimate of the segment is that the offer be around 20% lower than in the current crop in Minas Gerais (MG), which has boosted coffee prices in the market and contributed to minimize the prejudice of coffee growers.
