Dog Beer, first beer exclusively for dogs of Latin America, is thrown in the packaging-I

Brazil's most popular drink, the beer is now having an exclusive version for dogs. This is the Dog Beer, the first beer for animals of Latin America, conceived by businessman Marco Melo and bottled in packing of Owens-Illinois.
With its stance of supporting microbreweries, Owens-Illinois was chosen to provide the bottle, which can be found at packing of 355 ml and has a design similar to that of traditional beer dispensers for humans.

The Dog Beer is an innovation, because it is the first liquid snack throughout South America and every innovation is always a challenge, but for us it is very gratifying to know that through our packaging and services give the necessary support to those who want to grow in this segment, "says Alexandre Cardoso, Manager of the beers category I.
According to José Gonçalves Antunes, chemical engineer head of the team that developed the Dog Beer, for its production are needed only two tanks, while for traditional beers are used four. The process is stopped on the second tank to avoid fermentation product and than added CO2, right now is added meat extract.
In the second half the company will launch the Cat Beer, in a new exclusive bottle too I, feline friends.
