Nestlé enters the market of premium chocolates in Brazil with releases

São Paulo – Nestle is known in Brazil for producing popular and beloved brands of chocolate, such as Kit Kat, Aero, Alpine Chokito and prestige. Now, the brand decides to invest, too, in the premium chocolate segment.
The information was given exclusively to the EXAM site.
The brand will launch more expensive chocolates and targeting consumers willing to spend more for the sweet-using natural ingredients, cocoa countries like Ecuador, Ghana and Ivory Coast, and handcrafted manufacturing process.
Existing in Europe (established in 2014, in Switzerland and in France), Les Recettes de l'Atelier will come to Brazil with ten versions of chocolate bar.
The forecast is that the product reaches the shelves in August. The Brazil will be the first country in Latin America to receive this line of Nestlé.
Will be two formats, of 100 and 115 g, with flavors of milk chocolate and bitter and even options that take pieces of nuts and fruit.
The ten flavors available are: Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate with caramel, Dark Chocolate, Bitter Chocolate Full-bodied Fruity, Floral, bitter Chocolate Dark Chocolate with orange, Dark Chocolate with raisins, hazelnuts and almonds, Chocolate bitter with blueberry, almond, hazelnut and Milk Chocolate with hazelnut and almond, cranberry, and Milk Chocolate with raisins, hazelnuts and almonds.
In a first moment, will be sold to markets of São Paulo and southern region.
