Casino Group Expands Cash & Carry on Colombia

Attentive to the growth of Assai in Brazil, the Casino Group has decided to accelerate the expansion of the model of cash carry to other countries of & Latin America. The French retailer plans to open seven stores of the Surtimayorista flag-inspired by the Assai-in Colombia until the end of the year. The first store of the Surtimayorista flag was inaugurated in 2016 and presented result of 2.7 times more sales than the format, operating in the same location previously. Since 2016, Assai became the largest network of the French group Casino. From April to June this year, the flag won R $4.27 billion.
