Sales of super and hypermarkets have high of 2.2% in October

In October 2017, the volume of sales of supermarkets and hypermarkets surged to 2.2%, compared to the same month last year. Already in relation to September this year, there was stability. The data have been disclosed this Wednesday (13/12) by IBGE (Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics).
According to the survey, the volume of retail sales, in October, fell (-0.9%) front of the immediately preceding month, on seasonal influences-free series, after an increase of 0.3% in September. With that, the quarterly moving average to the volume of retail sales retreated 0.1%-(quarter ended September 2017) to-0.4% (quarter ended October 2017).
