Samsung ends production of Galaxy Note 7

Samsung has announced the recall of Smartphone 2,500,000 Note 7 in early September, after numerous reports of phones on fire. This is a big blow to the reputation and prospects of the company, after the same cannot resolve security issues. The problem can be considered one of the more expensive product safety failures in the history of technology, and may cost the company about $ 17 billion.
The decision to dispose of Note 7 for the second time came after new reports of fires in appliances which were replaced, leading to new regulatory alerts, mobile operators and airlines. "[We] decided to suspend production and sales of Galaxy Note 7, in order to consider the safety of consumers," said the South Korean company said in a statement to the stock exchange from Seoul, where he suffered a devaluation of 8 percent on their actions, biggest drop since 2008.
