SMEs seek support in crisis

A survey conducted by Visa called "Latin American SMEs in COVID-19 time, their challenges, difficulties and needs", reveals that SMEs have been strongly impacted by the pandemic resulting from COVID-19, requiring financial help to help with digital solutions and more flexible credit conditions.
The study shows that 83% of the Latin American SMEs heard suffered a reduction in their activities during this period, considering that the other 17% operate normally.
The payroll of employees appears as the biggest concern of entrepreneurs, followed by payment of rent, furniture credit and expenses with electricity, water and telephone bills.
