Mexican Femsa will sell 5% plot gives Heineken

Mexico City (Reuters)-the Femsa said on Monday that plans to sell approximately 5% Dutch brewery Heineken, a business valued at 2.5 billion euros.
The bottler and Mexican retailer said that offer is targeting institutional investors outside Mexico.
Femsa owns the Heineken 12,53%, or about 72 million shares, according to data from Thomson Reuters. This means that the Femsa is selling 40% of your parcel.
The Mexican company will keep the seats on the Board of Heineken. The Femsa gave no further details about the offer.
In July, Heineken said to Coca-Cola Femsa, bottler of Femsa, that wouldn''t keep the beer distribution contract in Brazil. At the time, Femsa executives said that negotiations on the dissolution of the contract does not affect the companies '' strategic relationship.
Femsa''s shares rose 3,2% to 4:29 pm (GMT, while Heineken fell 0, 6%.
