Sales of Cup of Stella Artois will be converted to Water.org

São Paulo – without water there''s nothing, no beer. No wonder, Ambev announced today, world water day, a partnership between Stella Artois and Water.org, co-founded by actor Matt Damon and Gary White and in combating the global water crisis.
To encourage Brazilians to think on the subject, the brand released three exclusive limited edition goblets which will have fully reversed sales to Water.org. The art of them was in charge of the Brazilian artist Fernando Padmachary.
With the motto #1Cálice5anos, each item sold in the country will be converted into five years of water provided to communities mapped by the NGO, with implementation scheduled for the second half of 2017.
The global campaign entitled Buy the Lady a Drink was launched two years ago and, since then, Stella Artois claims to have helped more than 800,000 people have access to treated water, with the transfer of the money raised with the sales of previous editions.
Water.org data indicate that every 90 seconds a child loses his life due to a water-related disease. To help reverse this scenario until 2020, Stella Artois aims to provide, in partnership with the NGO, clean water to 3,500,000 people.
