Dafiti registers growth of 24% in the first half

The Dafiti, e-commerce sets of Latin America, with operations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, besides Brazil, presents the balance of the first half of 2016. Despite the challenging macroeconomic scenario of the country, in this period, the company acquired Kanu and Tricae marks, net revenue from sale of goods (Net Merchandise Value) of R$ 585,400,000, representing 23.8% organic growth in the first half of 2015.
The company registers growth percentage almost five times greater than the index of 5.2% for the Brazilian e-commerce market in this first half of 2016, according to report of the E-Bit.
In a survey published by the IGBE, the fashion retail sector showed a decline of 11.6% in sales volume in the first seven months of 2016. In July, the newly disclosed Monthly Trade Survey points to a fall in the volume of sales of 14.2% as compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the period, the company presents an increase of profitability in product gross margin, which jumped 37.5 percent in 2015 to 42.1% and adjusted EBITDA improved 27.4 percentage points to-9.6% compared to the index of-37.0% for the first half of 2015. This is the best result reported since the Foundation of e-commerce in 2011.
Mobile platforms also have significant participation in this result. The user base of the application of Dafiti grew up in 50% in the first half of this year and the traffic via mobile devices represents more than half of the total hits.
