Movement of the supermarket sector was stable in February

The movement of the supermarket sector, food and drink was stagnant in comparison to January and February of this year. Already in the year, there was a fall of 3.3%. The data are from a survey of the Boa Vista SCPC.
In General, trade grew only 0.3 percent in February compared to January. Over the same period last year, there was a decline of 6.7%. While in the past 12 months, the decline was 4%. The result marks a new negative record in the historical series of the indicator, starting in 2010.
