LafargeHolcim will sell plants in India for $ 768 mi

The LafargeHolcim cement said it will sell two factories in eastern India to the Birla Corporation for about 750 million Swiss francs (768 million dollars) as a condition of its recent merger.
Indian regulators have yet to approve the sales. The LafargeHolcim received approval with restrictions of the competition Commission of India for their merger in April 2015.
The sale of assets, including two cement factories operated by Lafarge India with an annual capacity of 5.15 million tons, was part of the deal.

The LafargeHolcim said the funds from the sale will be used to reduce its debt.
The LafargeHolcim are selling factories as part of plans to complete the integration of Lafarge and Holcim's until the end of next year, as a result of their merger.
