Cement company will invest $ 1 billion in Sergipe

The Apodi cement company, whose largest shareholder Ivens Dias, m. Dias group, will invest $ 1 billion to build a new factory in Sergipe (PE). The expansion is part of a company's strategy to expand its market share in the Northeast, only region in which it operates. The company has not yet determined which municipality will receive the installation. The new plant will have capacity to produce up to 5 thousand tons of cement per day and will operate with all phases of mining production to packaging of the final product. The plant joins the 35 new projects that have been approved for deployment in the State. Together, they will provide $ 84.4 million in investments.
