New cement factory in Parana

The CVR – Companhia Vale do Ribeira, invests R $ 518 million for the construction of a cement factory in the town of Adrianople (PR). The production envisaged the new plant is 1 million tons of cement per year. The prediction is that the plant is ready in 30 months after the beginning of the works, which must occur at the beginning of 2015. "We decided to invest in the city for its strategic location on the border with São Paulo, which is the largest consumer market in the country, by the availability of raw material and the ease of production", explains Director Henrique Bica Zaffari, majority of the company.
