ADM launches new packaging for vegetable oils

Vegetable oils Vitaliv marks, Concord and Corcovado, the Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), win a new packaging. According to the company, the packaging has 12% less plastic in their composition and brings a more sustainable label, in clear plastic. In addition, the container uses, in its composition, just 15 grams of plastic, namely 12% less than the packaging marketed until now. With that, the accumulated reduction of plastic in packaging already reaches 32% of the bottle and 60% in tampa, from 2013. The news is already on sale in Minas Gerais and reaches the other markets of the country in August.
Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions Among the environmental benefits of the new packaging, is the logistics optimization of transportation of raw material and plastic covers for the manufacture of the cylinders. Because of this, there was a reduction in the volume of fuel used by trucks and, consequently, the emission of greenhouse gases.
New Bottle is the More sustainable Category according to Ivana Alves Rocha, product marketing at ADM, the novelty was produced thinking to consumers, "we are launching an innovation, with a focus on our consumers, a category that was stagnant in terms of news.
