Stabilization year-retail sets Don''t get carried away with Christmas

The ABVTEX (Brazilian Textile retail Association) and its associated companies expect stability in sales this year, compared to the same period last year. The projections to 2016 suggest a discreet improves on the volume in apparel production in the country, from 0.9%, compared to 2015, and stability of 4.3% in value. The production values, must close in 109 million R$. The Association projected improvements only in 2017. "The beginning of a slow resumption of sales growth is expected for the second half of 2017, which gradually will be established in 2018," said Edmund Lima, Executive Director of ABVTEX.
